How it works

How incase works.

incase is a secure place to gather the information that matters most, built to share with the people you love, both today and when they might need it. Building your Case should feel good. Like really getting organized. Like sharing a map to everything that matters.

Why it matters

The difference a Case makes.

Say you create a Case for yourself. Inside is your essential information: everything another person might need, though not every last detail. Where your important documents are, your doctor’s contact information, where to find your will, the details about your home that only you know. All the things stored in your head that you keep meaning to organize. You share your Case with a loved one, and they have it the moment they need it most.

Before incase

We were out of town and had an accident. My husband was unconscious in the ER, and the doctor kept asking for health details, and I knew almost nothing. Not even the name of his primary care doctor. It made me realize how much we’d never gotten organized.

With incase

We were out of town and had an accident. My husband was unconscious in the ER, and the doctor had urgent questions, but I opened his Case and answered them quickly and calmly. His allergies, his medications, his blood type. Everything I needed was right there.

Getting started

Nine questions to begin.

We’ll guide you through nine simple questions to get you started. From there, add as much or as little as you’d like. Go at your own pace, on your computer, your iPad, or your phone.

There’s more than one way to fill in your Case, and a free iPhone app to help you scan documents, speak your answers, and upload photos straight from your pocket.

The dashboard

Open any folder and fill in whatever you want, in any order. Best when you already know what you’d like to add.

The walkthrough

Not sure where to start? We’ll gently guide you, one folder and one question at a time, capturing what matters most.

The review

The most important items still missing, gathered on one page so you can finish up and know your Case is ready.

It’s all one Case. Add something in any of these and it shows up everywhere. Use one, or all three.

What’s in your Case

Nine folders, everything in its place.

Your Case is organized into nine folders. Each one prompts you with the right questions, so you never have to wonder what to include.

About
Health
Home
Pets
Finances
Passwords
Keepsakes
Estate Planning
Wishes

Some information is practical. Some is priceless. incase holds both.

Sharing

A Case is worth more, shared.

Share your entire Case, or just a folder or two. It’s up to you. Give us the email and what you’d like to share, and we’ll send an invitation. The account your person sets up to view it costs them nothing, and there’s no limit on how many people you invite. You decide who sees what, and you can change it anytime.

See sharing in action

A neighbor, while you travel

Share just your Pets folder with a neighbor for the week: the feeding schedule, the vet, the little things. Change it back when you're home.

When a diagnosis arrives

Your Health folder is ready to hold a new diagnosis and family history, so the people who help can act on it, now and for future generations.

A Case you hand down

Build your child's Case as they grow: documents, health history, frequent-flyer numbers and all. When they leave home, transfer it to them: everything in one place, and finally theirs.

Always there when you need it

At home, across the country, or in a waiting room at 11 p.m. The information you need is always with you. Just in case.

On your phone, your iPad, your computer. Secure. Organized. Ready.
