incase for iPhone
Your Case lives on the web. The free incase app for iPhone is its perfect companion, and it does the things only a phone can do: scan a document, speak a field, record a voice, and find the one answer you need in seconds.
iPhone and iPad. Free. An Android app is on the way.
Why a phone
The hard part of getting organized isn’t writing things down. It’s the policy you’re holding in one hand, the prescription label too small to read, the story only your mother can tell, the alarm code you need while you’re standing at the door. Your iPhone has a camera and a microphone. Most of what’s hardest to type is easiest to simply show or say.
Capture
Tap Add, and whatever you capture lands in the right folder of the same Case you built on the web.
Each page is cropped and cleaned into a crisp PDF you can save, share, or print.
Hold the app to the bottle and it reads the drug, the dose, and how often to take it right off the curved label.
Every field has a microphone. Tap it, say your answer, and it’s transcribed on the spot.
Capture a story in someone’s own voice, saved to Keepsakes for everyone who comes after.
Plus health-insurance cards, handwritten recipes, and photos, each filed where it belongs.
Retrieval
In the hospital corridor, when the doctor asks for your dad’s blood type. Standing at your mom’s front door, trying to remember the alarm code. Pick the Case, ask the way you’d ask a person, and there it is, in seconds. Not a search that hands you ten folders to open. The answer itself.
Face ID unlocks the app when you open it. The most sensitive details, an alarm code, a Wi-Fi password, stay hidden behind Tap to reveal until you ask for them, and Face ID stands in the way again. Scanning a document, reading a label, and transcribing your voice all happen on your phone, never sent to an outside service. It’s the kind of protection you’d expect from your bank, for the things that matter even more.
Good to know
Accounts and Cases are created on the web, where building your first Case is real work that wants a keyboard and a cup of coffee. The interview that walks you through it, and the sharing that decides who sees what, live there too. The app is how you keep a Case current once it exists, and how you reach it when it counts.
